Who's been through a divorce involving a child or a custody battle? I think we all would agree that it's a rollercoaster of emotions for everyone. I'm a former certified mediator and child advocate for children in foster care. My own family court case left me with $120k in attorney fees, and so I educated myself, and that's when my family found a resolution: my proposed parenting agreement and the ability to know how to communicate. I have wanted to create this series for others and bring awareness to what needs to change. As a parent, you can advocate for yourself and your child in a healthy way. Hopefully, this series can minimize the trauma that many endure during the custody season.
